文章摘要:<正>Lithium-ion batteries have two electrodes:a positively charged cathode containing lithium and a negatively charged anode that typically is made of graphite. Then an electrolyte solution is used to allow lithium ions to travel back and forth between the electrodes as the battery is discharged or charged. Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in our daily lives. As for electric cars,the standard lithium-ion batteries used,however,are reaching their theoretical upper limit for energy density. So,a new design is needed to increase the energy per unit weight and solve the range anxiety for each charge.
